Success in the International Garden Photographer of the Year Competition No. 5

My photograph below, A Place to Rest, has been shortlisted in the Wildlife Havens section of the 5th International Garden Photographer of the Year exhibition. Results to be announced in March 2012. As last year this will mean my work will be published by the competition organisers in their book of the competition.

My Finalist image from last year can be seen in an exhibition in The Royal Albert Museum, Exeter from March 23rd to June 10th 2012.

Success in the International Garden Photographer of the Year Competition No. 4

I'm delighted to say that these two images of mine have been shortlisted in this competition, and have now reached the third stage of the judging. This means that one or both of them will feature in the book that is created from the successful entrants' work. More details will be available later this month.

UPDATE March 9th 2011: I am proud to announce that the photograph 'Loseley Park, the White Garden in September' has been shortlisted as a Finalist in the 'Garden Views' category whilst 'One Moment' has been Highly Commended.

Oxfordshire Arts Week at Querns Gallery

I will have space to exhibit at the Querns Gallery (Goring Heath, Oxfordshire, RG8 7RH) in May and will be showing a number of canvas prints and framed and unframed images. Do come along and see not just my work ...

There will be a wide variety of indoor and outdoor work on display, all available for sale. Indoor work will be exhibited in the converted eighteenth-century barn where refreshments will also be available to enjoy on the terrace. A dozen painters and photographers will be displaying a vibrant collection of wall art, alongside the intricate work of various jewellers and silversmiths. Meanwhile the outdoor sculpture trail will be in the large Mediterranean garden and courtyards surrounding the barn. It will include a diverse range of sculpture, large and small, in bronze, steel, stone, wood and resins.

Please do come and join us during the event. There is ample parking, entry is free and refreshments will be available.
